Miss Sophia on Better Mornings Atlanta

Corinna with Miss Sophia

I’ve been a huge fan or her “Girltalk” on the Frank and Wanda show for years.

Then last week I finally got to interview Miss Sophia from v103.

She’s a hoot!

We talked about some of the questions I’ve been getting from women for my new “Single In the City” segment.

One of the questions was: “Who should pick up the check, the man or the woman?”.

Miss Sophia answered: “The man should pick up the check — you have to let a man be a man”.

Then we both realized the irony of what she’d just said — so she looked right at the camera and added:

“Or let the man be a woman, what ever the case may be!”.

Look for “her” in the coming weeks on Better Mornings Atlanta.

And feel free to send me your relationship questions.

You may just hear them answered on TV!

LeAnn Rimes

Corinna and LeAnn Rimes

Got to meet LeAnn Rimes Friday night when she performed at the Fred Amphitheater in Peachtree City.

She’s been in the headlines lately because of rumors about a shaky marriage, so she didn’t do interviews.

But oh did she seem to have the weight of the world on her shoulders.

She ended the concert with a song by Janis Joplin — a women who died at 27 — the same age that LeAnn is now.

My thought was “this is a woman who is alone”.

I can only imagine what it must have taken for her to sue her own father — awhile back.

Now to be losing her husband, as well.

I feel for her.

LeAnn did manage to smile for some pictures, and even signed a purse for charity.

It’ll be auctioned off this fall at an event called “Open Your Purse” for the YWCA.

Paris!

Corinna at the Eiffel Tower

I recently had the trip of a lifetime, when a friend invited me to help celebrate his birthday in Paris!

The Paris Ritz

The Ritz Paris

The Ritz Paris has to be the most luxurious hotel in the world.

The waiters at the Hemingway bar are so amazingly attentive, they even managed to understand my French!

Pastries at La durée

Pastries at La durée

Of course my favorite part of Paris was the food!

A stop for pastries at La Duree is a must for any first time visitor.

Le Pre Catelan

Le Pre Catelan

One of the most incredible dining experiences in the city was at Le Pre Catelan.

Corinna and the Chef

I’m such a tourist, I photographed the butter, then had the chef sign my menu.

After all that, the chef came out to have a picture taken with me!

Baby clothes pins

I love the detail of the baby clothes pins on this pepperoni appetizer.

Soufflé

But by far my favorite was the souffle at the end of the meal.

Crack!

Crack!

It took a fork to break open the hard candy shell and get to the goodness inside.

Vive la France!
