Corinna with Malik Yoba

Malik Yoba stopped by the studio yesterday.

I’d forgotten how tall he is!

Even in my very highest heels, he still towered over me.

He’s in town promoting his new series, “Defying Gravity”. But of course I hit him up for “Single in the City

He’s in a committed relationship, and says a lot of that peace comes from the realization that, as a man, you can’t have everything in one woman.

He says that, in the past, he wanted an ambitious career woman who would also support him and his ambitions.

Isn’t that what we all want in a partner?

But he says he’s come to be more realistic about what’s actually possible.

To help others get to that place, he recommends the book:”The Way of the Superior Man”, by David Deida

Catch Malik’s interview Friday on Better Mornings Atlatna.

Then he’ll be on again, for “Single in the City”, Wednesday, August 19th.

A “relationship” guy, with a red hot career.

This is a man to watch!

Robbie from Atlanta emailed me this picture, to let me know that he really gets up early enough to watch our show.

Made me smile on a Monday.

What a great way to start the week!

Steppenwolf, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Santana and Toto.

Those are just a few of the bands represented on stage at the Fred Amphitheater recently.

They call themselves the “World Classic Rockers”.

The group is made up of former members of big rock and roll acts from around the world.

And I got to join them as part of a Rock Star Fantasy Camp!

I joined fellow campers on stage for two songs: “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Magic Carpet Ride”.

Then they called us up again, at the end for an encore.

Such a thrill!

Before our performance, they asked each of us to say our name, and what talent we’d be showing on stage.

Surrounded by professional singers and musicians — my answer?

Recently enjoyed a heavenly visit to a friend’s home on Lake Burton.

Sun and fun and so much great food!

But the highlight was time on the boat with Guido the pug.

He’s not much a of swimmer, so his life vest is a must.

And best of all, it comes equipped with a handle — very helpful for dipping him over the side!
