Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus is in town, and I got to go behind the scenes.

The highlight of the day was getting to be a “clown for a day”. That included full makeup, courtesy of Clown buddy, Todd. Believe it or not, he used a sock full of baby powder to set the grease paint in place.

Then we took the stage, spinning not one…

But two plates on my fingers — to the delight of the children in the audience.

I don’t know about you all, but I am ready for a break from shopping!

Mall walking is great and all, but if you’re ready for a work out that will really get you in the Christmas Spirit I highly recommend ice skating.

Better Mornings Babes hit the ice

Our annual Better Mornings Christmas outing this year was at the St. Regis in Buckhead, where they’ve set up a skating rink next to the pool!

$30 dollars gets and hour on the ice, complete with rental skates.

And they’ll even bring you hot cocoa at the end!

But the best part for us was the lesson from General Manager Simon Rusconi.

A native of Switzerland, he showed us how to skate with style.

It’s not often that you meet a former Miss USA! I met Lynnette Cole today during one of our ambush makeovers.

She’s now the international spokes person for Pur Minerals cosmetics, so she did the makeup.

We ambushed a busy mom, so the Pur Minerals line is perfect for her — foundation, concealer, SPF and finishing powder, all in one product! Add to that some of their silky smooth eyeliner, and a dash from their delicious palate of eye shadows, and she’ll be out the door in no time.

Celebrirty Dance Challenge — tonight!

Tonight is THE NIGHT!

After months of preparation, tonight I get to put my dancing shoes to the test!

My dance partner, Clifton Pierce, and I got up early yesterday to do a little preview.

My dress is solid gold — courtesy of designer Vanessa Vinci.

Then last night we did a run through with all the other teams — so we got to see their routines.

All I can say is — I am impressed!!!

I have the best job!

Look at the fun package that greeted me yesterday when I got in to work.

The balloon house is part of story line in the Disney/Pixar movie “Up” out on DVD today.

Don’t the balloons match my new yellow sweater nicely? My stylist girlfriend Evonya Easley found it for me.

Can I tell you what a hero having this DVD is going to make me at Thanksgiving?

Not only will I have a cool gift for the kids, but I’ll also be able to tell them about the time I got to actually go up in a floating chair, myself!

Okay, not really naked! But close. Check it out!

Saturday night we had a special Halloween edition of Better Mornings Atlatna.

And I got to dress up as Lady Godiva on horseback with the folks from Medieval Times!

Wearing a body stocking on camera was a challenge, to say the least.

Fortunately, I had help from my stylist, Vanessa Vinci and my beautiful make up artist, Zavia Ross.

Vanessa made sure I had all the proper undergarmets to present a “smooth” appearance on camera.

What child hasn’t dreamed of floating away on the string of their balloon?

Well for me it took 75 balloons and the work of some very creative Disney engineers.

But the result was magical!
